CLASSICAL GUITAR

THE PURPOSE OF THE CLASSICAL GUITAR COURSES AT MUSIC HOUSE, IT THAT OF ENHANCING THE ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC EDUCATION OF THE STUDENT, WITH THE INTENT OF DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL SKILLS SUCH AS THE MASTERY OF THE INSTRUMENT, ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE INTERACTION AND OVERALL EXPANSION OF WORLDVIEW.

PRIVATE CLASSES ARE RUNNING FOR A PERIOD OF 12 WEEKS.

Duration:
EACH PERIOD CORRESPONDS TO A LEVEL, AND WE HAVE AS MANY AS 3 LEVELS: BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED.

AT THE BEGINNER LEVEL, THE STUDENT IS EXPECTED TO ACQUIRE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

three pieces of music
10 famous melodies (Harry Potter, Ode to Joy, The Godfather theme)
8 Right-hand Arpeggios and 21 strumming patterns related to as many musical genres.
15 basic chords, useful to play all your favorite songs.
At the beginner level, students learn how to develop and create their own melodies and chord sequences.
Learning how to read music is an important part of the course.

AT THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL, THE STUDENT WILL PROCEED THE EDUCATION WITH THE FOLLOWING OUTCOME:

15 more chords for a higher level of musicality
Scales and Left-hand arpeggios
Improvisation
three more pieces in the genre of Classical Music
three more pieces in the genre of Jazz Music
All previous topics, such as reading will be further developed during intermediate, with a particular exploration of harmony.

AT THE ADVANCED LEVEL, THE STUDENT WILL EXPLORE MORE COMPLEX AND DEEPER ASPECTS OF MUSIC SUCH AS:

15 complex chords
Advanced techniques such as Tremolo, Rasgueado
three complex pieces in the genre of Classical Music
three complex pieces in the genre of Jazz Music
Improvisation
Reading to a high professional standard will happen regularly.
